Draft Festival and Event Policy

By City Staff

Sarnia City Council will consider the adoption of a Festival and Event Policy for the City of Sarnia at its meeting to be held on May 29, 2017.

The Festival and Event Policy and Procedures manual is intended to ensure consistency, convenience and safety among the event organizer, volunteers and citizens of Sarnia.  The policy will outline the Festival and Event Application process including policies and procedures to be adhered to when organizing an event on municipal land. Copies of the proposed policy are available on the City’s website www.sarnia.ca and in the City Clerk’s Department, City Hall.

If you have input that you would like to be considered by Council please provide it to the Parks and Recreation Department no later than Monday, May 1, 2017 by email to Ryan Chamney, Manager of Recreation and Planning at ryan.chamney@sarnia.ca or by mail with attention to the Parks and Recreation Department at 255 N. Christina Street, P.O. Box 3018, Sarnia, ON, N7T 7N2.
