CITY OF SARNIA NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Please be advised that a public meeting to consider the below-noted application will be held by Sarnia City Council in the Council Chambers at City Hall on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.
Persons wishing to speak to this application are requested to notify the City Clerk on or before noon Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in order to be placed on the agenda, although anyone in attendance will be given an opportunity to address Council on this matter.
REZONING APPLICATION 8-2017-85 of 2002 is submitted by Joe Bright for the subject land located at 1471 Exmouth Street.
The applicant is requesting that the zoning on the subject land be amended from “Urban Residential 1 (UR1)” to an “Urban Residential 1-51 Site Zone (UR1-51)” to permit a rooming or boarding house with a maximum of seven (7) bedrooms as an additional permitted use.
The subject land has frontage of approximately 27.2m (89.14 ft.), depth of approximately 80.9m (265 ft.) and area of 2,198 m2 (0.543 acres), and is used for an existing one-storey, single-detached dwelling and accessory building.

- If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Council of The Corporation of the City of Sarnia before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of The Corporation of the City of Sarnia to the Ontario Municipal Board.
- If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Council of The Corporation of the City of Sarnia before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
