Members of the public can engage on issues before City Council by appearing as a delegation, or providing written input.

Delegations

Anyone wishing to appear as a Delegation regarding a matter on the agenda shall submit a Delegation Request Form to the City Clerk not later than noon of the Wednesday prior to the Meeting.

Anyone wishing to appear as a Delegation regarding a matter that is not on the agenda shall submit a Delegation Request Form to the City Clerk not later than noon 13 days’ prior to the Meeting.

Presentations are limited to a time period of under 10 minutes.

Request to Appear as a Delegation

You can make a request to appear as a delegation by:

  1. Downloading and completing the Delegation Request Form below
  2. Submitting the completed form via email to clerks@sarnia.ca; in person at City Hall on the second floor during business hours; or by mail to 255 Christina St N, Sarnia, ON N7T 7N2

Written submissions

At the discretion of the City Clerk, Written Delegations, may be placed on the agenda.
