Development Reviews

Stormwater Management Pond

The Engineering Division reviews numerous plans of Subdivision and Site Plans of private developers for private development. These reviews involve checking the design and layout of all servicing associated with the development to ensure compliance with the City of Sarnia Engineering Standards. This includes storm and sanitary sewers/connections, watermains/connections and stormwater management standards.

Development proposals are submitted to the Planning Department who coordinate Engineering, Building, Fire Department and other City Departments for their comments.
