The next Municipal Election will be held on:
MONDAY, OCTOBER 25th, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Transit Service:
In order to reduce transportation related barriers for people with disabilities while travelling to and from the polls, and to give as many people as possible an opportunity to vote, Sarnia Transit will be providing the following services:
On Election Day, October 25, 2010, Sarnia Transit will be providing free rides for all customers for the entire day, on all Sarnia Transit Routes, including Care-a-Van services.
Advance Polls:
At Sarnia City Hall:
Saturday, October 9, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 13, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 15, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At St. Michael's School, Brights Grove:
Saturday, October 16, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What do I need to take with me to vote?
ADVANCE DAYS:
PLEASE BRING YOUR VOTER IDENTIFICATION NOTICE WITH YOU TO THE ADVANCE POLL. THIS WILL PROVIDE A SMOOTHER AND QUICKER VOTING PROCESS AS YOUR NOTICE HAS A BAR CODE THAT WILL BE SCANNED.
You must bring identification with you. Legislation now requires that voters provide identification when they vote.
