Our employees operate and maintain a fleet of 25 buses on the conventional transit system and 6 specialized vehicles on our Care-a-Van service. Sarnia Care-a-Van is a service provided by our department which is responsible for the transportation of people with disabilities within the city boundaries.
At Sarnia Transit we operate transportation services supporting major events being held in the city and we also provide charter services within the city limits.
Our department is also part of the secondary control group for the City’s Peace Time Emergency Plan.

Sarnia Transit consists of 57 employees who are responsible for providing public transportation within the transit service area of the city. Our mission is “to provide a safe, reliable and affordable service to the citizens of Sarnia.”
