Sarnia City Council established the “Sarnia Accessibility Advisory Committee” (SAAC) according to its requirements under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act (O D A). The committee has been meeting since January, 2003.
The twelve appointed members of the “Sarnia Accessibility Advisory Committee” will be making recommendations and providing advice to Sarnia City Council on matters pertaining to persons with disabilities within the City of Sarnia, as defined under the A.O.D.A.
The committee is committed to forging ahead to create a barrier free municipality, where all persons can fully participate.
