This Seasonal position brings an exceptional level of service to our City’s arenas, while interacting positively with the public. Working closely with the General Maintenance team, you will perform a variety of facility general maintenance, clean-up duties, event set-up and tear down, and ice maintenance to keep our arenas running smoothly this fall and winter season.

Seasonal employees are safety conscious and always demonstrate safe work practices, follow instructions well, possess excellent teamwork skills and have the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner.

This is a seven (7) month opportunity with the possibility for re-call the following year, depending on performance and the operational needs of the business.


  • Parks Nursery Technician Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
  • Valid Class “D” driver’s licence (“Z” endorsement as required);
  • Lift Truck Certification as required;
  • Propane Certification as required.
