The Sarnia Primary Control Group (SPCG) met electronically with staff from Lambton Public Health (LPH) and Point Edward regarding developments related to COVID-19. The next scheduled meeting of the SPCG is August 31, 2021.
The City Hall building remains closed, however staff are available to assist Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone (519 332 0330 x. 3131) or email: email@example.com, and through available Online Services.
City Hall service counters are expected to fully resume for in person services on Monday, August 16, 2021, unless otherwise directed by the Province or Lambton Public Health, with capacity limited to permit physical distancing of 2 metres. Upon reopening, service will be provided through the first floor Customer Service, with the second and third floor available to the public by appointment only.
Residents can request an appointment for in-person counter services using the Contact Us Page: https://www.sarnia.ca/comment/. Residents without internet access can reserve a time by calling City Hall. Requests for same-day appointments will be subject to availability.
Public health and workplace safety measures will continue to apply in all reopened City facilities, following strict health and safety guidelines including, but not limited to: COVID-19 screening, capacity limits, physical distancing, mask requirements where applicable, and cleaning and disinfecting practices.
Lambton Public Health
All eligible individuals are asked to book their vaccine appointments at any of the local clinics using LPH’s online Registration.Alternatively, residents may book their appointment by contacting LPH’s Vaccine Call Centre from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 226-254-8222.
