The Sarnia Primary Control Group (SPCG) met via teleconference on June 16, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. regarding developments related to the COVID-19
The Government of Canada announced today that the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) is extended by eight weeks, and they have extended travel restrictions between Canada and the United States to July 21, 2020.
In addition to resources to prevent COVID-19 in the workplace, including sector specific guidelines and posters, the Government of Ontario has created a Toolkit to help employers create safer working environments for employees during Covid-19.
On Friday June 19, 2020 Sarnia-Lambton will enter Stage 2 of the Framework for Reopening our Province. The list of essential workplaces continues to be updated, and can be viewed here: https://www.ontario.ca/page/list-essential-workplaces.

Provincial Orders
The Government of Ontario has extended the Declaration of Emergency until June 30, 2020.
The Government of Ontario has extended all emergency orders currently in force under s.7.0.2 (4) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act until June 19, 2020.
