The Sarnia Primary Control Group (SPCG) met via teleconference on June 17, 2020, at 9:15 a.m. regarding developments related to the COVID-19.

The County of Lambton Social Services Division provided an update on the local vulnerable population and child-care services in the Sarnia-Lambton area.

It was confirmed that Social Services are working towards reopening County operated child-care facilities by June 29, 2020, with strict health measures and limited capacity.

The Government of Ontario has extended all emergency orders currently in force under s.7.0.2 (4) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act until June 30, 2020. For more information visit https://www.ontario.ca/page/emergency-information.
