The Sarnia Primary Control Group (SPCG) met electronically with staff from Lambton Public Health (LPH) and Point Edward regarding developments related to COVID-19.


The City Hall building remains closed, however staff are available to assist Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone (519 332 0330 x. 3131) or email:, and through available Online Services.

The City’s plan for a gradual, safe, and measured reopening continues with a cautious and responsible approach.

We ask all members of the public to use vigilance when visiting City facilities and amenities, in accordance with public health guidelines. First Floor City Hall Customer Service is expected to resume in person services starting Tuesday, October 12, 2021; City Hall second and third floor will be available to the public by appointment only.

City Hall service counters will open with capacity limited to permit physical distancing of 2 metres.

Residents can request an appointment for in-person counter services using the Contact Us Page: Residents without internet access can reserve a time by calling City Hall. Requests for same-day appointments will be subject to availability.
