The Sarnia Primary Control Group (SPCG) met today regarding developments related to COVID-19.

On September 7th, City Hall will be closed for Labour Day and Sarnia Transit & Care-A-Van will not be operating. Sarnia Transit service will resume on September 8th, and will reflect a modified full service schedule. More information is available online here: https://www.sarnia.ca/transit-updates/

The SPCG met with Bob Crawford, Project Coordinator for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board’s ‘Safe Return to School’ program.  Mr. Crawford provided an update of their progress, highlighting key health and safety measures that have been implemented to mitigate the risks of COVID-19.

Wearing a face covering is required in public indoor spaces, and on public transit in the City of Sarnia under the Mandatory Face Coverings By-Law 76 of 2020.

Public health safety measures include staying home when sick, practicing physical distancing with others outside your social circle, good hand hygiene, and wearing a mask if required or if physical distancing is not possible.
