The Sarnia Primary Control Group (SPCG) met electronically with staff from Lambton Public Health (LPH) and Point Edward regarding developments related to COVID-19.
The City Hall building remains closed, however staff are available to assist Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone (519 332 0330 x. 3131) or email: email@example.com, and through available Online Services.
Lambton Public Health Update
Workplace and Vaccination information is available on the LPH website. LPH is expanding eligibility for third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to additional groups that face the highest risk of serious illness from the virus. Eligible individuals are asked to Register for their third dose online or contact the Vaccine Call Centre at 226-254-8222.
Requiring proof of vaccination in select settings was announced by the Government of Ontario on September 1, 2021, to help further protect Ontarians from COVID-19 and the Delta variant.

Specified businesses and organizations are responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements regarding requiring patrons to provide proof of identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or entitlement to an exemption) as outlined in the Provincial Regulations.
Vaccine certificates may be presented digitally or in print format. Vaccine certificates can be accessed at lambtonpublichealth.ca or covid19.ontariohealth.ca. People with a red and white health card should call the Provincial Vaccine Line at 1-833-943-3900, and residents who do not have a heath card, or who were vaccinated outside of Ontario, should contact Public Health.
