Wyoming, ON – The popular Household Hazardous Waste Days, co-sponsored by the County of Lambton Public Works Department and Clean Harbors Canada Inc., will be changing locations in June.

The one day only mobile Household Hazardous Waste Collection event will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Lambton College Parking Lot located at 1457 London Road in Sarnia.

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection event will offer Lambton County residents an opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste at no cost.   

“Corrosive, toxic, reactive and flammable materials will be collected at the mobile event,” says Matt Deline, Public Works Manager, County of Lambton. “These items should never be placed in a regular landfill because they have the potential to injure workers and damage the environment.”

Examples of these types of materials include:

Items NOT accepted include:  PCBs, commercial, industrial, radioactive wastes, electronics and explosives (flares and ammunition).
