The City of Sarnia has partnered with Language Line Solutions, a trusted partner to thousands of government agencies for interpretation services.
On December 1, 2020, overnight parking on City of Sarnia streets will end.
Overnight, on-street parking restrictions are in effect from December 1 to March 31, annually. Any vehicle parked on a City street between 2:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. will be in violation of the By-Law and can be ticketed. There will be no exemptions granted during this period except on December 31, 2020 for New Year’s Eve.
“Overnight, on-street parking restrictions enable the City to conduct necessary snow removal work throughout months where snowfall is expected,” explains Adam MacDonald, Manager, By-Law Enforcement Services.
Overnight parking of licensed personal automobiles and motorcycles on residential streets is allowed between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. from April 1 to November 30, annually. These vehicles can park on the street for a maximum of 12 hours.
