October 5, 2023 – The City of Sarnia is seeking expressions of interest for graphic design support as it relates to the design of enhanced welcome signage for Sarnia City Hall.
As identified in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) Working Group work plan, the City of Sarnia is looking to develop welcome signage to display at City Hall and possibly replicate for other City facilities.
The intent of the welcome signage is to create an inclusive, welcoming space for visitors at City Hall. This Expression of Interest is seeking graphic design support to develop simple signage in multiple languages (English, French, Three Fires Confederacy).
The detailed Expression of Interest document is available below. Submissions must be submitted electronically to purchasing@sarnia.ca
The UNDRIP Working Group was established by Sarnia City Council in 2018 with a mandate to develop a plan to advance the implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples within the City of Sarnia.
