NOI 2024-21

September 4, 2024 – Notice is hereby given by The Corporation of the City of Sarnia of its intent to engage B.M. Ross and Associates Limited for the design and implementation of remediation of the existing Blackwell Glen Stormwater Management Facility (SWMF) remediation project. The scope of work is broken down into four (4) phases:

  • Design Phase
    • Prepare preliminary budget cost estimates for remediation options
    • Prepare specifications and tender documents
  • Tender Phase
    • Consult with City and respond to Bidder inquiries as required
    • Review tender submissions and provide recommendations of award
  • Construction Phase
    • Coordinate pre-construction meeting with Contractor and City staff
    • Contract administration and project progress meetings
  • Post-Construction Phase
    • Complete final deficiency inspection
    • Prepare and submit “as-recorded” drawings and letter of general compliance to the City

B.M Ross and Associates have been selected for this project, due to their familiarity and involvement in past projects at the SWMF. Utilizing them for this new project will enable the City to expedite this project along, while leveraging experienced resources.

Estimated Purchase Value: $21,000

Vendors who wish to object to this decision should contact Jessica Scheuermann, Procurement Supervisor for The Corporation of the City of Sarnia, on or before September 10, 2024 (noon) at purchasing@sarnia.ca presenting specific reasons for their objection.  If deemed acceptable and in the best interest of The Corporation of the City of Sarnia, the City will convene a meeting with its representatives and the service provider concerning this NOI.
