Rezoning Application 14-2021-85 of 2002 is a City initiated general housekeeping amendment to the Accessory Buildings and Uses provisions in Section 3.1 of the Zoning By-law.

The purpose of the amendment is to amend the regulations that establish a maximum combined lot coverage for all accessory structures within a Residential Zone or for a residential lot in a Rural Residential or Rural zone.

Box 3018, Sarnia ON N7T 7N2, or place them in the mail slot on the right hand side of the Christina Street North entrance to City Hall.

To ensure your comments are included in the City Council Agenda, comments must be received by 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 6, 2021.

Planning Act Information
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the City of Sarnia to the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly Local Planning Appeal Tribunal) but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Sarnia before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Sarnia before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
