Notice is hereby given that public engagement has now begun with respect to the proposed Draft Climate Change Action Plan.

The purpose of this plan is to identify to staff and City Council achievable and timely objectives and action items that create community resiliency and capacity to address and adapt its assets, operations and services to the negative impacts of climate change and to mitigate risks associated with GHG emissions that contribute to climate change.

The proposed plan is publicly available for viewing at the City’s community input webpage.

Written comments regarding this plan should be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, and can be directed to or by mail to the attention of the Parks and Recreation Department, 3rd Floor, Sarnia City Hall, 255 North Christina Street, P.O. Box 3018, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 7N2.
