Please be advised that a Virtual Public Meeting of Sarnia City Council is scheduled for Monday, December 13, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. to consider Rezoning Application 18-2021-85 of 2002.

Purpose of Rezoning Application 18-2021-85 of 2002:
The purpose of the city-initiated zoning amendment is to provide temporary relief to parking and landscape open space requirements for commercially zoned property.

Additional proposed temporary changes would allow existing restaurant business owners to offer outdoor food sales on their property or on the City right-of-way within close proximity to their restaurant.

These initiatives will support businesses by allowing them to expand their presence in a safe and socially distanced manner as an extension to the original 1-year pilot.
