Please be advised that a Virtual Public Meeting of Sarnia City Council will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 12:00 Noon pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study.
All interested parties are invited to attend the Virtual Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. by-law and background study.
In order to ensure that sufficient information is made available to the public, the background study is being made available online at the municipality’s website (https://www.sarnia.ca/development-charges-guidelines/) as of July 9, 2021.
Copies of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study can be made available upon request through the City Clerk’s Office or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How to Participate
You are invited to watch these meetings online at https://www.sarnia.ca/council-meetings/. You can also participate by submitting comments and/or registering to speak during the public meeting. You may submit comments by email to email@example.com, mail to City of Sarnia, c/o Engineering & Operations Division, 255 Christina Street North, P.O. Box 3018, Sarnia ON N7T 7N2, or place them in the mail slot on the right hand side of the Christina Street North entrance to City Hall.
To ensure your comments are included in the City Council Agenda, comments must be received by 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 6th, 2021.
