At its meeting scheduled for Monday, December 13, 2021, Sarnia City Council will give consideration to the adoption of a policy regarding the Use of Indigenous Images/Themes in City Sport Facilities.

The purpose of this Policy is to provide direction to staff and awareness to non-indigenous teams and members of the general public with respect to the use and display of Indigenous images and themes at the City of Sarnia sport facilities.

A copy of the proposed policy is available for viewing on the City of Sarnia’s official community engagement platform Speak Up Sarnia.
