Wednesday, June 10
Sarnia Canada Day Kick-Off: Culture and Cuisine

Featuring Sarnia Canada Day Committee Chair, Becky Wellington, City Liaison, Rachel Veilleux, and special guests Uttam and Usha Bansal from the Multicultural Council of Sarnia-Lambton. Culture and cuisine is the theme of this week’s topic. Uttam and Usha will share the secrets to their homemade rice pudding recipe.

Wednesday, June 17
Sarnia Canada Day Kick-Off: The Eh Team

Featuring MP Marilyn Gladu, Sarnia Director of Parks and Recreation Rob Harwood, Tourism Sarnia-Lambton Executive Director Mark Perrin and pre-recorded messages from Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley and Point Edward Mayor Bev Hand. Representatives will discuss and share celebratory ideas for community members on Canada Day.

Wednesday, June 24
Sarnia Canada Day Kick-Off: Paint the Town Red and White

Featuring Sarnia Canada Day Committee Chair, Becky Wellington, City Liaison, Rachel Veilleux, and special guest Cat Cabajar from The Painted Cat. Decorating for and celebrating Canada Day is this week’s topic. Cat will share a quick Canada-themed decoration that you can make right at home!

The Sarnia Canada Day Committee is partnering with Tourism Sarnia-Lambton and all other County municipalities to provide augmented reality fireworks! Simply download the app called snapd HUB on your device and at 9:30pm for the next 48 hours, using the Augmented Reality button on the platform, you will be able to experience virtual fireworks right from the comfort of your own backyards, balconies or living rooms!
