Sarnia Heritage Committee

The Sarnia Heritage Committee was established pursuant to Section 28 of the Ontario Heritage Act to advise and assist Council on all matters relating to Parts IV and V of the Act and other matters as Council may specify. The committee advises Council on the conservation of the City’s built heritage. More information is available in the Terms of Reference.

Meetings

The committee meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month. Refer to our agendas and minutes for more information.

Composition

The committee consists of a minimum of nine members who are appointed for a two-year term. A minimum of one committee member shall be a member of Sarnia City Council.
