The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) Working Group meets to develop a plan to advance the implementation of the UNDRIP within the City of Sarnia. More information is available in the Terms of Reference.

Meetings

The UNDRIP Working Group meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month. For more information refer to our agendas and minutes.

Composition

The Working Group is made up of representatives from multiple sectors that include government, business, not-for-profit, and community members. First Nations and friendship centres located within Lambton County may each delegate a representative. Sarnia City Council may appoint up to two of its Members. Members are appointed for a two-year term.
