Question: Can pictures be taken in parks and other municipally owned properties for campaign use?

Answer: Taking a photograph on City property that will later be used to produce campaign material does not violate the Use of Municipal Resources for Election Purposes Policy.

Question: Are candidates allowed to put a magnetic sticker with an election sign design on their car?

Answer:  In accordance with the Use of Municipal Resources for Election Purposes Policy, Campaign Materials shall not be displayed on any City Property. Campaign materials include vehicle decals.

Question: Are candidates permitted to have floats/entries in the Canada Day Parade?

Answer: No, the Use Municipal Resources for Election Purposes Policy  states that City property shall not be used for any Campaign Activities, and Campaign Materials shall not be displayed on any City property such as City roads and parks.

Answer: The Council Meeting Portal contains information relating to upcoming and previous meetings of Council. The top left corner of this page contains a search box for keyword searching.

Question: What voting places have been established for in-person voting?

Answer: On Election Day, Monday, October 26 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., eligible electors can vote using a paper ballot at any one of the voting places listed below:
