Election Jobs – Working the Election

The City of Sarnia hires individuals to assist in the delivery of Municipal Elections.

Applications are expected to open in August and further details will be posted to this page at that time.

Positions Available

Election Day positions include:

• Deputy returning officer
• Revision clerk
• Tabulator operator
• Greeter

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Election Workers must be able to attend both the in-person training session and work on voting day.

Applicants must not be:

• A candidate or registered third-party advertiser
• An immediate family member of a candidate
• Actively working to support or oppose a candidate in the City of Sarnia Municipal and School Board Election
