City Encouraging Stronger Action for Private Company Emissions

The City of Sarnia is aware of complaints about odours emanating from a private company and has been in communication with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP) about this issue.

In an effort to further address this local issue, the City has requested that the MECP take stronger enforcement action against the private company and ensure that the odour issues are addressed as soon as possible.

The City will continue to pursue available actions to address this issue.
