August 14, 2025 — Residents and visitors can now provide their input and past experiences to inform the development of an overarching design for Kenwick Park.
As the City prepares for revitalization of park assets nearing their end of life, work is underway to develop a comprehensive design for the Bright’s Grove Park, ensuring that future improvements fit cohesively with existing amenities as they are replaced. To inform that design, the City is engaging the public on their experiences with the park, in addition to their preferences for potential improvements.
“Kenwick Park is central not only to Bright’s Grove, but to our entire recreational landscape. From playing host to events like our Sounds of Summer concert series to providing space for sport and leisure, the lakeside park serves a host of diverse uses, so, as we move forward with design, we want to make sure those uses and the needs of our community are reflected in any future improvements,” said Park and Facility Services Manager Tom Burnard.
Individuals interested in providing their input can visit www.speakupsarnia.ca/Kenwick2025 to find more information and access a survey. The survey, which includes the opportunity for open-ended input, will close on September 5, 2025.
Information gathered will be used to inform a draft design for presentation to Sarnia City Council.
