October 9, 2024 —  Fright Night at Cana-Scare-A is back for another year of frights and fun.

The City’s annual Halloween event — hosted in partnership with the Seaway Kiwanis Club — returns to Canatara Park on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 from 5 to 10 p.m. Halloween enthusiasts can stop by the Animal Farm area at the park to enjoy free Halloween fun including six self-guided haunts of varying fright levels alongside guided haunted walks.

“We’re excited to be preparing the cob webs and pumpkins to once again offer some spooky entertainment for residents celebrating the Halloween season,” said Krissy Glavin, Manager, Parks and Recreation.

Participants are encouraged to put on their Halloween best and arrive in costume if they wish.

Visitors can also check out the Bone Collector garbage truck fully decked out for the spooky season;  The Painted Cat Face Your Fears Gallery featuring temporary glitter tattoos and balloon twisting; and haunted train rides on the Children’s Choo Choo Train.

The event, with the exception of food sales, is completely free and runs from 5 to 10 p.m. For full details, including volunteer opportunities, visit www.sarnia.ca/Events
