August 27, 2026 — Residents are invited to embrace the season and make this fall their most active, creative, and connected yet with programs and activities at the Strangway Community Centre.

The fall recreation programming schedule for adults aged 20 and older will be available for review on Sept. 1, 2026 and registration will open Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026 at 9 a.m. The fall season will run from Sept. 28 to Dec.18, 2026, with holiday closures on Sept. 30, Oct. 12, and Nov. 11.

“Fall is one of Strangway’s busiest seasons, with outdoor organized sports moving indoors, alongside a full slate of programs for every interest, including some new additions to the lineup,” said Activities Programmer Mike Neely.

New and improved programs on the fall 2026 lineup include:

  • German: Basics
  • Golf Lessons
  • Technology for Beginners
  • Technology: Intermediate
  • Clay Experience: Handbuilding Pottery
  • Casa Loma Christmas Day Trip
  • Facts & Chat Series instalments
  • Additional Chair Core Conditioning
