August 6, 2026 — Get ready for some family-friendly fun and entertainment as the City of Sarnia brings back Kids Funfest for another year.
This year’s event will be in a new location. Kids Funfest will take place at Centennial Park on Saturday, August 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the open field and Suncor Agora Stage.
The event will connect families with community programs and services, bringing together organizations, clubs, and businesses that serve families and children. These groups will provide information and offer a free interactive activity.
“Kids Funfest has become a staple event in our community bringing local organizations, clubs, businesses, and families together in a creative and interactive way” said Recreation Coordinator Rebecca Warren, adding “It’s a great opportunity to try something new and learn about local programs offered in our community”.
Highlights include musical, magic, circus, and juggling performances on the stage; concessions; and other activities including Red Line Inflatables, Touch-a -Truck, and more.
The Suncor Agora parking lot will be closed from 7 a.m. until the end of the event to accommodate the Touch-a-Truck activity and ensure the safety of all participant and attendees. People attending the event are encouraged to use active transportation, public transit, or park in other municipal parking lots on Front Street and Harbour Road.
