Jackson Road and Bridgen Road will be closed to through traffic from Telfer Road to Michigan Line starting Aug. 8, 2022 to accommodate rehabilitation of the Jackson Road bridge over Perch Creek. Local traffic will still be able to access the road, however travel across the bridge will not be possible during the rehabilitation. The City is rehabilitating the bridge to ensure continued safety and functionality. Work will include: – Asphalt removal and replacement – Expansion joint replacement – Concrete repairs – Bridge deck waterproofing – Installation of new approach slabs – Installation of new guard rails The project is scheduled to take place from Aug. 8, 2022 to Nov. 25, 2022. Detour information: Through traffic can utilize Telfer Road and Michigan Line as a detour during the project. Local traffic accessing properties to the west of the bridge can enter Jackson Road from Telfer Road. Local traffic accessing properties to the east of the bridge can enter Bridgen Road from Michigan Line. Attached image shows the detour route and road closure information.
