Public skating programs are free of charge for the community and no registration is required.
The City does not provide skates or assisting devices.

Public Skating Schedule – Fall 2025
Fall public skating sessions will begin Monday, September 22 until Friday, December 19, 2025, with the intent to offer holiday skates and a continuation of Winter sessions in January through March 2026.

Public Skating Rules & Regulations
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over the age of 18.
All participants must vacate the building within 15 minutes of the end of the skating session.
Maximum 120 skaters on ice.
Activities and items that are not permitted on the ice during public skating sessions include:
- No food or drink
- No horseplay/games
- No skating backwards or speed skating
- No figure skating maneuvers
- No skating against the direction or flow of skaters
- No sticks, pucks, balls, pylons, or any other kind of hockey/sport equipment
- No headsets, cell phones, or hand-held electronic devices to be used while skating
- No shoes or any other footwear other than ice skates
- No strollers or other assisting devices that may interfere with skaters’ safety
- Ice-certified skating aids are allowed during Parent-Tot sessions only
- Wheelchairs and other accessibility devices are allowed, so long as they always remain in control of a skater
- No carrying of children is to be permitted
- No sitting on the boards
- No throwing of ice or snow or any other objects
Any participants disobeying rules will be asked to leave the session and may be excluded from future skating sessions.
