April 28, 2024 – The flag in front of City Hall is lowered to half mast in recognition of the National Day of Mourning. In 1984 the Canadian Labour Congress declared a National Day of Mourning for workers killed and injured on the job.
Several City facilities, including City Hall, will be closed from noon on December 24, 2025 until 8:30 a.m. on January 2, 2026 to facilitate our annual holiday closure. For more on facility and service impacts, such as waste and transit, please consult our public notice.
