December 13, 2024 – The flag in front of City Hall is lowered to half-mast in memory of the late Elie Chawah. Chawah was hired by the City of Sarnia in March 1977 and worked in the maintenance area of Transit before retiring in October 2000. Chawah passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 89.
