January 9, 2025 – The flag in front of City Hall is lowered to half-mast in memory of the late Rene Warnez. Warnez was hired by the City of Sarnia as Garage Supervisor in January 1993 and retired in May 1998. Warnez passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 89.
