The City has been made aware of social media posts advertising special anniversary Sarnia Transit bus passes at a discounted rate. These posts are fraudulent, the offer is not legitimate. Residents should avoid interacting with the posts or any offers to solicit the sale of these passes. Do not click on any links contained in the post(s).

June 23, 2025 – The flag in front of City Hall will be flown at half-mast today in observance of the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism. Proclaimed in 2005, this day honours those who have lost their lives due to acts of terrorism, both in Canada and abroad. The date was chosen to mark the anniversary of the 1985 Air India Flight 182 tragedy.
