September 12, 2025 — At the regular meeting on April 29, 2025 council approved a proposal brought forth by Current Inc., which outlined a 3-year pilot E-bike ride share program to be operated throughout the City of Sarnia through the use of designated City parks and park space as parking areas for the ride sharing program.
As of September 5, 2025 the program is online and bikes are available to be rented at the approved locations around the City, as well as two additional locations on the Lambton College Campus.

This is a privately operated business and the City’s only involvement is allowing use of public spaces for rental locations
Staff will report back to Council annually as the program progresses over the 3- year pilot project.
