May 23, 2023 — Brock Street South will be closed from Talfourd Street to Wellington Street, including the Wellington Street intersection, starting May 24 as the City moves forward with combined sewer separation, new sidewalks and road resurfacing in the area.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
The $2.9 million project is part of $7.8 million the City has budgeted for combined sewer separation (and related road replacement) in 2023, work that will create a more resilient sewer system that is ready for changing climate patterns and reduces inefficient treatment of storm water.
