April 17, 2026 – In memory of Dane Nisbet, the flag at City Hall will be lowered to half-mast today, on the day of his funeral service. Dane passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 20.
The entire Sarnia community is mourning this tragic loss of a young man who was on a path to a bright future. This gesture is intended to acknowledge the profound loss felt across our community and to offer a sign of collective respect and sympathy to the Nisbet family, Dane’s loved ones, friends, and members of the Lambton College family.
