- Under section 239 (2) (f) of the Municipal Act, to receive information that is subject to solicitor-client privilege with respect to a zoning compliance matter.
- Under section 239 (2) (a) of the Municipal Act, to receive information about the Council Chamber Emergency Plan.
- Under sections 239 (2) (c) and (k) of the Municipal Act, regarding the proposed acquisition of land for a municipal right-of-way.
- Under sections 239 (2) (b) and (d) of the Municipal Act, regarding employee negotiations.
- Under sections 239(2) (e) and (f) of the Municipal Act for the purpose of receiving advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege regarding a legal action commenced against the City.
