October 2, 2026 – NOTICE is hereby given that the Municipal and School Board Elections in the City of Sarnia will be held for the offices of:

  • MAYOR (1)
  • CITY AND COUNTY COUNCILLOR (4)
  • CITY COUNCILLOR (4)
  • TRUSTEE, LAMBTON KENT DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD (3)
    • English Public School Board, Representing the City of Sarnia and Village of Point Edward.
  • TRUSTEE, ST. CLAIR CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD (2)
    • English Separate School Board, Representing the City of Sarnia and Village of Point Edward.

Voters’ List

To Vote, you must be on the Voters’ List. If you are on the Voters’ List you will receive a Voter Information Letter (VIL) by mail with information about how, when and where to vote.

How to Vote

1.   Internet

To vote by internet, follow the instructions provided on your Voter Information Letter (VIL). You can vote anytime during the Internet Voting Period.

  • Start: Friday, October 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
  • End: Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.

2.   Paper Ballot – In Person

To vote by Paper Ballot, visit any of the following locations on Monday, October 26, 2026 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

  • Clearwater Arena, Lower Hall, 1400 Wellington St.
