April 26, 2023 — Notice is hereby given by The Corporation of the City of Sarnia of its intent to award a contract to Van Bree Drainage and Bulldozing Ltd. to complete restoration work at Centennial Park Flag Plaza. This work is required based on emergency sewer outlet repairs that were completed in the Fall of 2022.
Van Bree Drainage and Bulldozing Ltd. has been chosen to complete this work for the following reasons:
- Scope includes site restoration of 2022 storm sewer repair.
- Firm completed other related work at this site and has gained knowledge of
project expectations. - Past experience with City staff on similar projects
Estimated Contract Value: $60,000
Service providers who wish to object to this decision should contact Iain Douglas, Senior Procurement Specialist for The Corporation of the City of Sarnia, on or before May 3, 2023 at purchasing@sarnia.ca presenting specific reasons for their objection. If deemed acceptable and in the best interest of The Corporation of the City of Sarnia, the City will convene a meeting with its representatives and the service provider concerning this Notice of Intent.
