July 24, 2025 – Staff are continuing efforts to address damage and advance the reopening of Progressive Auto Sales Arena in response to flooding on July 16, 2025.
The facility remains closed at this time. As of Monday, staff began rebuilding the ice surfaces in the arena, with that work ongoing.
The facility was initially estimated to be closed until at least the start of the fall ice season. We are, however, examining avenues to potentially expedite reopening, specifically the installation of temporary flooring on the lower level ahead of permanent replacement at a later date.
We will continue to update facility users on the timeline for reopening via the Public Notices section of the City website. The City hopes to provide an updated timeline next week.
