June 13, 2023 — Michigan Line will be closed to through traffic from Telfer Road to Brigden Road starting June 15, 2023 to accommodate rehabilitation of the Michigan Line bridge over Perch Creek.
Local traffic will still be able to access the road, however travel across the bridge will not be possible during the rehabilitation. The City is rehabilitating the bridge to ensure continued safety and functionality.
Work will include:
- Asphalt removal and replacement
- Expansion joint replacement
- Concrete repairs
- Bridge deck waterproofing
- Installation of new approach slabs
- Installation of new guard rails
The project is scheduled to take place from June 15, 2023 to Sept. 29, 2023.
Detour information
Through traffic can utilize Telfer Road and Brigden Road to Lakeshore Road as a detour during the project.
Local traffic accessing properties to the west of the bridge can enter Michigan Line from Telfer Road. Local traffic accessing properties to the east of the bridge can enter Michigan Line from Brigden Road.
