September 3, 2024 — With work underway to update the Sarnia Transit Downtown Terminal, transfer points / stops at the terminal’s usual location have moved south to the intersection of Cromwell Street and Vidal Street.

Specifically, stops / transfers for Routes 1 and 2 have moved to the north side of Cromwell Street, to the west of Vidal Street.

Stops / transfers for Routes 3/4 and 9 have moved to the west side of Vidal Street to the north of Cromwell Street.

All stops are marked with yellow signage displaying the route numbers for the buses served by the stop.

The existing terminal that is currently under reconstruction required buses to park and load / unload along George Street and Vidal Street, creating inconvenient transferring for travellers. The new terminal will allow for six buses to park simultaneously on a central island and allow for passengers to transfer buses in a safe and convenient way, while beautifying the downtown intersection.

We apologize to our residents for any inconvenience and appreciate their patience as we work to improve transit delivering in our community.
