November 25, 2025  — The City, and the Seaway Kiwanis Club, are getting ready to deck the proverbial halls at Cantara Park as Christmas on the Farm returns Dec. 5 and 6, 2025.

Held in cooperation with the Seaway Kiwanis Club, Christmas on the Farm at Canatara Park returns for its 51st year on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Guests can expect the farm and surrounding area to be decked out for the holidays, with an array of free festive fun.

“It just wouldn’t be the holiday season in Sarnia without Christmas on the Farm. It’s always exciting for us to welcome our residents for a wide range of free festive fun that will be sure to delight the whole family,” said Recreation Coordinator Sean Hanlon.

Guests can look forward to a variety of attractions, including old favourites such as roasting chestnuts, rides on the Children’s Choo Choo Train, ice-carving demonstrations, and horse and carriage rides.

Attendees can also expect Story Time with Mrs. Claus, cookie giveaways, a holiday photo booth and free admission to the Animal Farm. Santa will also be stopping by to visit with children in attendance on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m.

To facilitate Christmas on the Farm, the Park Service Road will be closed west of Lake Chipican Drive on Friday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. and reopened Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m.

Sarnia Transit will operate a shuttle between Northgate Plaza and the event on December 5 and 6. Regular fares apply.
