YMCA of Southwestern Ontario

Children’s Summer Camps

The Lawrence House

The Lawrence House was donated to the City of Sarnia in 1977 and was fully restored in 1986, and is currently run independently by staff and a committee. The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts officially opened its doors on June 17, 2001, providing a venue for performances, exhibitions, educational programs and special activities for all ages. The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts is a community based, independent, not-for-profit, charitable organization committed to encouraging the creation and appreciation of the visual, performing and literary arts in Sarnia Lambton.

Andrew S. Brandt Marina at Sarnia Bay

With over 30 beautifully landscaped acres and spectacular views of the Blue Water Bridges, the Andrew S. Brandt Marina at Sarnia Bay offers boaters a full service “lifestyle” marina that includes over 350 boat slips for both seasonal members and tourist (transient) boaters. The up-to-date facility and staff offer an endless array of amenities and services to all guests.

Seaway Kiwanis Club – Animal Farm & Train

Children’s Animal Farm
The Children’s Animal Farm is a great place to bring the family and interact with lots of different kinds of animals from bunnies and donkeys to peacocks and everything in between! Located in Canatara Park near the Seaway Kiwanis Pavilion, the Animal Farm is operated in partnership with the Seaway Kiwanis Club and the Sarnia District Humane Society.

Children’s Mini Train
The Children’s Mini Choo Choo Train is a 42-foot-long train seating 10 that is wheelchair accessible, located in Canatara Park in partnership with the Seaway Kiwanis Club. It starts at the Station near the Animal Farm and travels throughout the park for approximately 5-minute trips.
